WHO WE ARE

We a registered charitable organization under the Perpetual Succession Act, Chapter 164 of the Laws of Kenya. Our goal is to empower communities by fostering sustainable development through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) model. By facilitating inclusive community conversations, we help uncover and leverage local assets, strengths, capacities, and untapped opportunities to drive meaningful and lasting change.

THE FOOD CRISIS

The world produces enough food to feed all 8 billion people. Yet, 1 in 9 goes hungry every day. 26% of children in Kenya suffer from malnutrition. Malnutrition stunts children’s growth, causes depression, and leads to inability to work due to muscle weakness. Over 14.5 million Kenyans face food insecurity while 8.9 million live in extreme poverty. Our organization focuses on vulnerable families in the informal settlements and slums providing meals, counseling, clean water, and support groups.

We save children from scavenging and stealing to find something to eat. Slums and informal settlements are home to thousands of children and families. Food provides a sense of relief, hope, comforts reaffirming a person’s dignity and humanity. Ultimately, food is not just sustenance but a critical step toward recovery and rebuilding lives.
