Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

Access to clean water transforms lives. The Ngao Foundation understands the importance of clean water and has made interventions through its program of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) across the communities. Most of our WASH work focusses on access to clean water and sanitation facilities, behavior change communication around proper WASH practices, and advocacy for improved drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene.

Why Water

In Kenya , 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water. But in the communities we serve, its 9 out of 9 .Water is a daily and clipping challenge whereby without water you can not grow food, you can not grow healthy, you can not stay in school and you can not keep working.

Today, hope is on hold in over half of the developing Kenyas communities without access to clean water and sanitation.

ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER IMPROVES…
